Our Favorite “First Readers” Books
The very first books that the girls read were BOB Books and Dash Into Learning Books. I’ll treasure those first little reads forever and ever. After they mastered those books, I knew I had to light the spark to hopefully ignite their love of reading. The first books we offer our children have to be captivating enough to keep their attention but also not so challenging that their confidence dims. Such a fine balance! Easy Autumn Leaf Lanterns
If you are looking for a fun, but simple, fall craft…look no further! This craft requires very little supplies and the results are simply beautiful! The girls, aged 7 and 9, were able to complete this activity completely on their own. They loved having creative freedom with their designs and immediately began talking about how beautiful it would be to have these lanterns on their bedside tables that evening.
