Our study of the solar system would not be complete without a simple craft to remind us of what we had learned. By studying and painting each planet, the girls were able recall the different planetary features we had read about. Our Favorite “First Readers” Books
The very first books that the girls read were BOB Books and Dash Into Learning Books. I’ll treasure those first little reads forever and ever. After they mastered those books, I knew I had to light the spark to hopefully ignite their love of reading. The first books we offer our children have to be captivating enough to keep their attention but also not so challenging that their confidence dims. Such a fine balance!
