Recycled Paper Cloud Craft

We made happy little cloud mobiles to hang in our windows and bring smiles to our neighbors faces.  We hope you make some too and spread some cheer!

MATERIALS:

Cardboard

Brown packing paper

Zero Dust Chalk (or makers, crayons, paint)

Yarn

Hole punch ( or a pencil to push through the paper)

INSTRUCTIONS:

CLOUD

  • Cut Cloud shape out of two layers of brown packing paper
  • Color in one side of each piece (draw a face if desired)
  • Hole punch the perimeter of the cloud
  • Hand stitch the cloud with yarn
  • Before completely sealing, stuff the cloud with crinkled paper scraps to give a puffy appearance

RAINDROPS

  • Cut raindrop shapes from cardboard
  • Color in
  • Hole punch once at the point of the raindrop
  • Attach yarn and hang from the cloud
  • Add another loop of yarn to the top of your cloud to use as a hanger

Voila!  Hang in your window or even on your bedroom wall.
